Zoey - 3 Week Adult Obedience

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Jake at Town and Country K9! Our golden retriever rescue, Zoey, missed out on early socialization as a puppy and had developed some challenging behaviors—pulling on the leash, reacting to other dogs, and constantly jumping on people for attention. We had previously worked with another local trainer and saw some improvements, but we knew Zoey was capable of more.
Zoey spent three weeks with Jake, and the difference has been incredible. Not only is she walking calmly on leash (no more pulling or lunging!), but she’s also much more composed around other dogs and people. For the first time, we were able to enjoy a peaceful dinner at home without her constantly begging for attention—something we didn’t think was possible a few months ago.
We loved getting the daily picture and videos to see how Zoey was progressing. She’s a better behaved version of her cute, silly self.
Jake was fantastic at the handoff and took the time to walk us through everything he had worked on with Zoey. He made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. We know it's now on us to maintain her progress, but for the first time, we feel like we have the tools—and the results—to do it.
